I was anxious for this session, because Marianne is a talented fashion blogger with a large following – I knew her outfits would be on point! Marianne and Ryan wanted fall vibes for their St Paul engagement photos. I suggested Como Park because I love the elevated look of the buildings there. I knew they would bring out the elegance of Marianne’s outfits and complement the neutral vibes.
The couple brought their adorable goldendoodle to their session, and I’ve never met a more photogenic pup! She smiled right at the camera every time she was posed. It made my job so easy! Marianne brought a friend to help wrangle and entertain their dog during the session, which is always a smart idea. I recommend this to all my clients who want to bring their dogs or small children to sessions. Having an extra set of hands and someone to wave behind my camera seems to work well every time!
I’m so excited for their wedding at Machine Shop this upcoming May! It will be the perfect combination of trendy and classic, and I know Marianne will style it to perfection. Plus, I get to work with Events by Melody again after working together on Mattie and Michael’s Landmark Center wedding this past winter, so I know it’s going to be good!
