,Marta and Andrew met online, which led to a whirlwind romance. After only a few months of dating, Andrew had bought a ring. It didn’t take long for him to know Marta was the one, and it’s easy to understand why. Marta is incredibly genuine, kind, and beautiful. I hardly had to pose these two for photos because they were so visibly in love throughout their entire day. They made my job incredibly easy! Their Minneapolis spring wedding was thoughtful, romantic, and colorful (my favorite!).
Marta and Andrew were married at Mercy Vineyard Church with a reception at Willkommen Park Pavilion in Norwood Young America. They incorporated gorgeous spring colors and details into their wedding day. Bridesmaids wore variety of blue tones, and the flowers added a pop of coral. I was a little worried about their wedding in late April. You never know what the Minnesota weather will be like. We did battle some rain and clouds in the morning, but after their ceremony, the clouds parted and we were left with gorgeous spring sunshine. Marta and Andrew got married in their church in Northeast Minneapolis. It was an intimate, faith-based ceremony elevated by wonderful live music. These two have a simply beautiful relationship, and you can just feel the love between them by the way they look at each other.
One of my favorite moments of their day was the half hour before the ceremony. Marta and Andrew made a point to carve out time for just the two of them to talk before their wedding. So often we can get tied up in the planning, the pictures, and the details that we forget to stop and breathe on the most important day of our lives! These two prayed together and gave themselves a moment to take in what they were about to do. I was fortunate enough to capture some of these peaceful moments before the ceremony, and they are some of my favorite shots from the day. To add to the beauty of the moment, Marta and Andrew got married in front of a gorgeous cross that Andrew built specifically for their wedding day. How romantic is that?!
