Kayla and Luke’s Machine Shop wedding was a long time in the making! These two were originally supposed to tie the knot in June 2021, but they decided to postpone due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While it was difficult to wait almost an additional year, it was well worth it.
As fate would have it, Kayla and Luke were originally supposed to get married on my wedding date, June 26, 2021. They originally inquired with me, but I obviously wasn’t available to shoot their day. Instead, they found another photographer. However, after they postponed, their original photographer couldn’t do their rescheduled date. Kayla and Luke reached back out and this time I was free! I think it all worked out exactly as it was supposed to.
Kayla and Luke are such a laidback couple. They really were just so excited to finally be married that they didn’t sweat any of the small stuff. I love working with couples like them! Their relationship has taken them all over the United States, and most of their guests traveled from out of state. It was such a fun vibe, having everyone together in one room. Their guests packed the dance floor and were all smiles all evening.
