Legacy Hill Farm Wedding

This Legacy Hill Farm wedding is a really special one for me! Not only have I wanted to photograph at this venue for years now, but I got to capture the love of the sweetest couple!

I’ve known Jadee and Matt separately for a long time. Matt and I went to school together K-12, and Jadee joined us in school during high school. These two didn’t start dating until after we graduated high school. As soon as I found out they were together, I was secretly rooting for them! They are both such kind people with positive dispositions. Their wedding was like a huge high school reunion! Almost their entire (large) wedding party was made up of fellow classmates. It was so much fun to reconnect with everyone and see so many familiar faces.

I ran into Jadee and Matt at Britta and Brett’s A’Bulae wedding last year before they were engaged. Matt confided in me on that day that he planned to propose soon. Sure enough, a few weeks later I saw an Instagram post that they were engaged, and Jadee immediately inquired about me photographing their wedding day. I was so excited to see that email pop up in my inbox! I think I might have emailed her back within 5 minutes.

Jadee and Matt tied the knot on a warm, sunny day in July. You can’t ask for a much more beautiful weather day! When you get married at a farm venue, it can be difficult to work around inclement weather. Luckily, there were no issues on this day! The sunny weather provided us a gorgeous sunset in the evening. It was truly one of the best wedding golden hours I had all year! You can judge for yourself!
