Ellie and Noah’s Lafayette Club wedding was simply stunning. Not only is Lafayette Club a gorgeous historical venue right off of Lake Minnetonka, but these two are a beautiful couple inside and out. Their wedding day was full of love, faith, laughter, and many happy tears.

The couple currently resides in Texas, so I didn’t have a chance to meet them until the wedding day. However, you don’t need to spend more than a minute with Ellie or Noah to immediately love them. They are both so warm, welcoming, and easy to be around. It’s no surprise they fell in love!

Ellie and her bridesmaids got ready for the day at her parents’ house in nearby Mound, Minnesota. Then, we traveled to Lafayette Club to get dressed and spend the remainder of the day there.

Every little detail of this wedding day was totally my aesthetic. The men looked so classic in their black tuxes. Ellie’s bridal look was timeless and magazine-worthy. I will never get over her bridesmaids’ look either. The mix and match dusty blue dresses were so gorgeous, and I loved that she added a pop of color with her florals. It was the perfect summer, nautical look for a lakeside summer wedding day!

The wedding ceremony was such a sweet and sentimental part of the day. Ellie and Noah wrote individual vows that were so eloquent and thoughtful. They also strongly incorporated their faith into the ceremony. They even flew their pastor from Texas in to perform the ceremony. The sun peeked out occasionally throughout the ceremony, and Lake Minnetonka made for a beautiful background for the occasion.

After the ceremony, the couple was able to mingle with guests, enjoy a wonderful meal, and listen to heartfelt speeches. These two are clearly so loved both individually and as a couple. Ellie and Noah also shared a sweet first dance in front of large letter signs and we snuck away to take some photos with the gorgeous sunset over the lake.
