Winter Wedding at Hastings Golf Club

I’m so thrilled to relive Jordan and Steven’s winter Hastings Golf Club wedding today! These two are truly the kind of couple I want to work with over and over again. Despite getting married on a frigid February Saturday in Minnesota, these two were all smiles and such troopers about outdoor photos. I always convince my winter wedding couples in Minnesota to brave the cold. We can make a lot of magic in just a few minutes. Plus, outdoor, natural light photos are always so dreamy.

For those who have been on my blog before, you know how much I love winter weddings. I recently made a list of my favorite winter wedding venues in Minnesota, and since then, I’ve received so many more inquiries for winter weddings. It makes me so happy! Though it’s cold, winter weddings end up being so gorgeous with the bright white snow. Jordan and Steven’s was no different. I absolutely loved their color scheme, and Hastings Golf Club is an elegant, cozy venue for a winter gathering.

The day kicked off with some beautiful bridal portraits of Jordan in the ceremony space by Hasting Golf Club’s gorgeous windows. Then, she had a highly emotional first look with her dad that was enough to make anyone cry. Jordan’s dad couldn’t contain his emotions all day. It was so incredibly touching, and I love photographing that kind of emotion. Jordan’s first look with Steven wasn’t any different. There were lots of happy tears and excitement all around.

After a sentimental ceremony, this Hastings Golf Club wedding featured a fun grand entrance, touching speeches by the maids of honor and best man, and an amazing dessert table. My assistant and I had such a blast with this wedding. I would do it over and over again. Congratulations to the Andersons! Let’s check out some highlights.
