I’m so excited to be featuring another artist photoshoot, Christina Johnson! Christina Johnson is an amazing painter, artist, and all around person! We have known each other since high school, and Christina’s career has really taken off in the last few years. Her work has been featured in magazines, local boutiques, and even on the HGTV show, Stay or Sell! Christina and I shot her first branding session at The Hutton House last winter, so I was so excited when she asked to work together again!
We shot this artist photoshoot at 8th Street Studio in Farmington. This is a new studio in the Twin Cities, and I am super impressed! The lighting was beautiful, and I loved all the variety of seating options. It also happened to have a few great nails in the wall to hang Christina’s paintings. This studio space truly made for the perfect backdrop for our branding session.
If you’re unfamiliar with what a branding session or a brand photographer is, don’t worry! A branding photoshoot is a photo session to build up head shots, product photos, or general lifestyle photos for a small business. These photos are great for use on a website or social media and typically show the business owner in action!
Christina’s art is currently being featured at Woodhaven, a brand new wedding venue just south of the Twin Cities. This shoot features some of the pieces that will live at the venue.
