This winter, I started working on a spring styled shoot with Kenzie of Kenzie Heckmann Events and Rachael from Melrose Events Co. We wanted to collaborate to capture wedding photos at The Wexford at Emerald Greens, a new wedding venue in Hastings, Minnesota. Styled photoshoots are so much fun as wedding vendors, and they allow us to showcase our talents and create wedding content we crave.
Kenzie and Rachael created the overall vision for these spring wedding photos and Rachael’s florals really created a “wow” factor to this day. Kenzie chose the most beautiful linens and place settings to really take the venue’s beauty to the next level. Because we had worked so hard to put this photoshoot together, we decided to create two different “weddings” together in one day with two couples to model for us. Both couples were perfect models and helped us embrace two completely different looks within the same space.
One of my favorite parts of this shoot were the dresses! These styles from Effie’s Bridal Trunk were the perfect unique, fashion-forward choices for spring and summer soirees! I absolutely love the remove pieces of both of these dresses. One dress had optional sleeves and the other had a removable overskirt. These were such unique yet wearable pieces that I hope inspire more fashion-forward bridal looks this season.
I am so thrilled with how these wedding photos at The Wexford at Emerald Greens turned out. There was such amazing collaborations between all the vendors listed below. We problem-solved together and truly helped each other execute the vision.
