Julia’s senior pictures at Stone Arch Bridge are some of my favorites of the summer! Julia is just the sweetest soul, and not to mention absolutely beautiful! I was so honored to capture this beauty’s senior photos and spend time with her and her sweet mom!
Julia and I have known each other for a few years now. She will graduate from Eagan High School in 2021 and is an active participant in the dance and theater programs there. I have worked with Julia as a choreographer for Eagan High School’s theater productions. Julia has always been extremely driven, passionate, and easy to work with. She is so sweet and incredibly talented.
Julia was adopted from Colombia, and her mother told me the sweet story of her “gotcha day” during her shoot. While her parent were in Colombia, they purchased various emerald items due to them being more available and affordable there. Each year on the anniversary of Julia’s adoption, they gift her something emerald as a celebration. How sweet and special is that?! You can see a few of these gifts in the photos below.
Julia chose Stone Arch Bridge and Mill Ruins Park as her location for her senior photos. This location is one of my favorites! We shot on one of the first days of fall, and I was thankful to finally have a shoot in slightly cooler temperatures. I shot in this location earlier this summer when it was almost 100 degrees out! You can check out that session with Sierra on the blog as well!
The lighting was absolutely perfect for Julia’s senior pictures at Stone Arch Bridge. It allowed us a lot of flexibility on where to shoot, but still gave us a little of that gorgeous golden hour glow. Check out some of my favorite images we captured below!
