Krissy and Tyler’s June wedding at Royal Golf Club was one of my favorite weddings to date! Not only did Krissy meticulously plan every detail, but they had the most beautiful weather day. I love the bright glow we got for portraits and the sunset was epic!

These two knew they wanted to have an outdoor ceremony – rain or shine – so they booked Trellis Outdoor Ceremonies for the occasion. They have a covered ceremony space, which is perfect for unpredictable Minnesota weather! We shot most of their portraits at their reception venue, Royal Golf Club. This is truly one of my favorite wedding venues in the Twin Cities. I love shooting at country clubs, and Royal’s all-white decor is always so beautiful and timeless.

After the ceremony, I hopped on an adorable trolley with the wedding party to drive around and take some additional photos. I’m a big fan of renting special transportation on a wedding day. Whether it be a trolley or a fun getaway car, your big day is a time to make everything an experience!

They decided to incorporate their love of travel into their wedding day. One of my favorite details of the wedding day was Krissy and Tyler’s luggage tag escort display. Also, Krissy and Tyler are planning one of the most epic honeymoons I’ve ever heard of! They’re going on safari and hanging on the beaches in Tanzania. How cool is that?! I’m a big fan of using your honeymoon to plan the trip of a lifetime!

Another fun touch of their reception was their Sip & Solve giant crossword puzzle. Guests could spend the time working on clues about the bride & groom. I thought this was such a fun idea to give guests something to do in addition to mingling.

This day was just all around planned to perfection. Thanks to Krissy’s type-A nature and the assistance of their planner, Renee, this Royal Golf Club wedding was one for the books!
