Rainy Wedding Day at The Beach Club

Kennedy and Nick celebrated their wedding at The Beach Club on a rainy May day. While rain on your wedding day can be disappointing, sometimes it adds a whole unique vibe to the day. This wedding was one of those times where the rain really added to the mood of the day overall.

You may remember Kennedy and Nick from their adorable engagement session at Rice Park on the blog last year. I met these two through Kennedy’s bridesmaid, Lindsay, and Nick’s best man, Braeden. Their Abella wedding was one of my favorites from last year! I’ve been so fortunate to photograph multiple weddings within this friend group, and they have all been so wonderful. Referrals are truly the kindest compliment, and I love being able to really get to know my clients across multiple weddings! Fortunately, I get to photograph Nick’s sister’s wedding this September!

These two have been together for a long time, and their wedding day was truly a celebration of finally uniting them together. They are sweet and easygoing, and you could tell their family and friends just adore these two. Some of my favorite shots of them are the more candid moments and especially ones outside with umbrellas. Luckily, Kennedy and Nick rolled with the rain and trusted me wholeheartedly.
