Megan and Joey got married at Quarterdeck Resort in Brainerd on the most unexpectedly gorgeous day. I had the opportunity to shoot this gorgeous day as an associate photographer for Trish Allison Photography. The forecast for their nautical, lakeside resort wedding was originally stormy and gloomy. Needless to say, we were all a little concerned about the outdoor ceremony plan. However, just as the first look was planned, the sun peeked through the gray clouds and stayed out the rest of the day. How lucky is that?! Sometimes there’s a bigger plan for us, right?
Megan and Joey rented all the adorable lake houses at Quarterdeck Resort. Their wedding party, friends, and family all spent their wedding weekend on Gull Lake.
