We shot Erica and Matt’s beach maternity session on one of the hottest days of June, but they were troopers! Erica and Matt were expecting a baby girl in about a month. Because I’m a little behind on blogging here, they just had their sweet baby girl, Quinn, last week! I can’t wait to meet her at their newborn session in a few weeks.
I met Erica and Matt through work. We all work at Avionté together – they work in sales, and I work in the customer service sector. I have known these two since before they got married! You know a couple has a strong relationship when they can work closely together in the same office and then go home to the same house!
Erica wanted to do some of their maternity photos in water, so I suggested shooting at the Schulze Beach location of Lebanon Hills Regional Park. This is one of my go-to locations. It has great variety and is convenient for most of my clients in the south metro area. The “beach” is small, but I knew I could capture the water locations Erica wanted and some other grassy backgrounds without making them walk too far. Pregnant woman and high humidity made for a difficult combo. However, Erica and Matt were adorable, playful, and so much fun to work with during their session. Erica’s maternity outfits were on point! I loved her orange dress and how it popped against all the green in the park. Check out some of my favorites from their beach maternity session below!
