The Consoers’ gorgeous Ashery Lane Farm wedding was truly picture perfect. I’m not sure I could name a more perfect day for a summer wedding. Blue skies with puffy white clouds covered the vast orchards of Ashery Lane Farm in Mayer, Minnesota with plenty of sunshine as well. It was 80 degrees – a perfect August day to celebrate the beginning of a new marriage.
Dan and Colleen met in high school and their wedding day was the culmination of a six year relationship. Their families were clearly so excited to finally see these two join in marriage. My favorite part of the day was during the first look when Dan surprised Colleen with a song he wrote just for their wedding day. It was an amazing piece of songwriting and I couldn’t help but hold back tears myself! Dan has a great voice and clear musical talent all around.
This day ran so smoothly, which helped me have plenty of time to capture all the details of the day. Dan and Colleen lined up a stellar group of vendors, so I was so excited to see everything come together. The blue and navy color palette worked perfectly against the gray and white tones inside Ashery Lane’s reception hall, and Dan’s brother made the large C you can see hanging over the fireplace. These kinds of little personal touches are my favorite parts of wedding days. You see how a marriage and wedding is truly a full family affair.
Here’s to a long and happy marriage for the Consoers! Check out a few of favorites from this gorgeous Ashery Lane Farm wedding.
