Abella Weddings and Events has become one of my favorite venues in the Twin Cities area. I love getting to return there again and again. The grounds are lush and beautiful and the buildings are immaculately kept. I always find the most gorgeous lighting for my clients, making their days look dreamy. Marissa and Buzz’s wedding was no different.

Marissa and Buzz are high school sweethearts that have undeniable chemistry. They make just a gorgeous couple, and their long history made for a wedding to really celebrate. Buzz comes from a big family with lots of siblings, and their close relationships were palpable throughout the day. I always love working with large families as I come from one myself. It makes every wedding day feel like a boisterous family reunion!

The last time I was at Abella was for another stunning summer wedding with one of my favorite couples. Marissa and Buzz’s day reminded me so much of Lindsey and Braeden’s because both couples were lucky enough to have beautiful weather, letting us take advantage of all the locations the grounds offer. From the ceremony in the willows to the gravel roads along the white fence, there are so many timeless options.

Speaking of timeless, I loved the simple black and white color scheme of the day. I also loved their vintage inspired cake by Custom Cakes by Megan. There were just so many simple touches that made a big impact and were supported by the stunning white venue backdrop at Abella Wedding and Events.

I can’t wait for yet another August wedding at Abella this upcoming year. Here’s to more great weather, good memories, and endless love!
