Winter Wedding at The Essence

Lindsay and Mark’s winter wedding at The Essence St Paul was truly a party. These two tied the knot in February 2023, and it was the perfect winter day. We had an abundance of sunshine and fresh snow to use as a backdrop to photograph their beautiful day.

February in Minnesota is no joke. Just days before their wedding, Minnesota had a historical winter storm that dumped over a foot of snow over Minneapolis and St Paul. However, it didn’t stop any of their guests from making it to The Essence in St Paul to celebrate this wonderful couple.

Lindsay and Mark met on Bumble, and they should totally be an advertisement for the app. They are truly a perfect match. These two are kind, fun, loyal, and sweet, and they were both so organized for their wedding day! Lindsay planned their winter wedding at The Essence Event Center to a T. Everything from the stationery to the florals was magazine worthy.

What really paints a picture of this couple is looking at their wedding party. They had 8 bridesmaids, 4 personal attendants, 8 groomsmen, 2 ushers, a flower girl and a ring bearer. With a wedding party of that size, you know it’s going to be a party! But a large wedding party also indicates a couple who is friendly, fun, and loyal to their squad. This crew was so much fun and so supportive of this wonderful couple. It was truly a privilege to photograph them throughout the day. Plus, they were total troopers for enduring the 20 degree temps to get photos outdoors like Lindsay wanted!
