Tent Wedding at The Minikahda Club

Rachel and Will hosted their tent wedding at The Minikahda Club in Minneapolis on the most gorgeous June day. The weather could not have been more perfect for an outdoor, lakeside wedding in a tent.

The Minikahda Club is a stunning historical venue in the heart of Minneapolis. I captured another beautiful spring wedding at The Minikahda Club last year, and it quickly became my favorite venue to photograph. It’s nestled right up against Bde Maka Ska, letting guests watch boats drift by as they sipped cocktails and celebrated this wonderful couple.

Rachel and Will were just a dream couple to work with. They’re kind, friendly, smart, and clearly have great taste. Every last detail of this day was beautiful and classy, thanks to the guidance of their planner, Sarah Trotter. Sarah made the summer lakeside wedding of anyone’s dreams come true! This tent wedding was truly a Minnesota summer captured in a wedding day.

I did not get the pleasure of meeting Rachel and Will in person until their wedding day, because they spent the year of their engagement living in New Zealand for Rachel’s job. Amazing, right?! However, I knew within minutes of our consult call via Zoom that these two kind souls were going to be fun to celebrate. Rachel and Will love to travel and explore together, so it’s only natural that they took a honeymoon to France and Spain right after the wedding to celebrate. Congratulations to the Bakers!
