Ariana and Trey’s Mill City Ruins engagement session gave me all the gorgeous fall vibes. We were able to find a day in early November that wasn’t completely freezing, which is difficult to do in Minnesota! Ariana was such a trooper in the cold, and these two had the most adorable natural chemistry. I barely had to pose them because they were just naturally sweet, flirty, and snuggly.
Ariana and I met many years back during a production of “Peter Pan” at Eagan Summer Community Theatre. I feel like I write about theater in half of my blog posts, because the community I have found in Eagan theater is just amazing. I hadn’t seen Ari in a few years, but when I received her wedding inquiry, I was so incredibly excited. She is such a joyful, energetic person, so I knew she would be an amazing bride to work with.
Trey and Ari met in Michigan while Ariana coached dance team and Trey worked as an athletic trainer. The two eventually started dating and moved back to Minneapolis, where Ariana’s family lives. Trey now works for the Minnesota Wild (how cool?!) and Ariana manages a Madewell store (aka the cutest clothes ever). They are getting married on a Thursday next September at The Neu Neu. I’m SO excited for their day; not only because The Neu Neu is a gorgeous new venue in Minneapolis, but also because these two were just so sweet and wonderful to work with. They plan to add so many fun and personal details to their day, which I absolutely love. I’m a firm believer that your wedding day should be totally and uniquely you, so I just know their wedding will be one of my highlights of 2020.
